What are you committed to?

Why commit to things that only give a temporary result? If you are going to commit to something why not something that makes you grow or develop as a person. For example; why date someone that does not make you grow in anyway. Why be with someone just for company or to fit in? Why not be with someone that wants you to be better in something of importance, such as; health, spirituality, mentally, or family?

When you are on your death bed these are the areas of your life you will judge.

I should have been healthier!

I should have been closer to my family!

I should have been more spiritual!

I could have pushed myself harder!

I should have chased my dreams!

Why commit to someone who do not help you achieve these things?

Genesis 2:18- The lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

Create the life you want

Don’t talk about it, be about it. Talking is just lip service. It’s like making a business deal without a contract. The contract is the proof or binding force that creates an action of carrying out the “talk”. A contract is a commitment. A commitment produces an action. Just like we learned in school from Newton, “Every action creates an equal and opposite reaction”. If you want to see a profit, change, weight loss, or etc commit to an action that will create the reaction you want. How you react to that reaction is the art of creation. This is how you create the life you want.

Foundation

The best way to discover your purpose or who you are is to find your intentions. Intentions can motivate you and sometimes your motivation comes from your intentions. Intentions is a plan or aim for something.  Therefore, intentions can be for good or bad. If we keep our intentions aligned with our values, we can discover who we are.  The true question is why? Why do you do what you do? Sometimes our intentions are wrong or not aligned with our values. This is why we should evaluate our motives and get to the foundation of our intentions. This is where your true self is. ©2021

Limitations

Limitation is a mindset that supports a belief one has been influenced by. Being limited or “feeling” limited simply means your perspective needs to change or broaden. Limitation is another word for thinking inside the box. The solution to this is to simply think until you are outside the box. How do you know when you are out of box? When you create an opportunity that gets you out of the box or when you have hope.

The power of tradition

Having a traditional mindset is a state of mind that is stuck in a certain perspective. A traditional mind is a stubborn mind. It takes a lot to change a stubborn mind because it is comfortable. Being in a state of comfort is the most difficult thing to change. People will not change while they are comfortable; they have no reason to. The only way to get someone to change their way of thinking is to make them uncomfortable. In other words, you have to show them that their perspective or way of doing things is not truly producing the results they claim they want. When someone realizes what they are doing isn’t working they will either quit or search for another way. When they begin searching, this means they are willing to change. Searching will eventually lead them out of tradition.
