The lack of a vision produces hopelessness. Hopelessness is a feeling of despair, meaning lost. You can only be lost if you do not have a vision.
What causes one to have vision? The answer is enlightenment. You need an enlightenment of who you are or who you want to be. Once you understand this, you can develop a vision (Plan) that produces hope which can be your light during hard times.

Knowing who you are is powerful. Identity is what takes you to the next level. Identity is a form of transportation. It will take you where you need to be. Who you are speaks volumes. When you have a sense of identity you have a measuring rod. A measuring rod that tells you what your style is, what things you personally like, what career you should have and etc.
Without identity, you are lost and confused. Being lost and confused causes you to be a fraud and incomplete and stagnant. You bounce from job to job, relationship to relationship, clique to clique, to and fro or you have an incomplete void looking for something or someone to fill it. It is very difficult if not impossible to live your entire life as a fraud/imposter.
How do you get identity? Identity is found in the secret place, the foundation of yourself. Who are you alone? If you had all the money and had every materialistic thing you could imagine what would or who would you be?
